We took an unproven startup to 10 awards for innovation
OOROO Auto came to Backed Studio an untested, unproven startup looking to carve out their niche in Tucson’s heavily-saturated auto-industry. With minimal marketing direction up until this point, they needed a guide to help establish and grow the core components of their business. Seeing this not only as an opportunity to help a new startup, but also a chance to expand the Tucson community, Backed established a partnership with OOROO that is still flourishing today.
OOROO Auto wanted to secure their position as customer-centric business, and with this knowledge, Backed centered the customer journey around this idea, utilizing it as a road map for strategic communications. It informed the communications strategy and was the foundation upon which brand work would be developed, leading to a three main goals: developing a scheduling and shop in-take management application; developing a corporate identity and unique messaging platform; developing an automated email communication system. First, the core technology to manage all appointments and customer in-take was created. By producing a smooth-running operating system, OOROO would be able to efficiently run customer-facing processes for an effortless customer experience. Next, a system for all of their external-facing collateral was crafted to create a distinct presence and brand voice for OOROO to set them apart from competitors. Last, but not least, automated email communications was adopted to enrich the new customer journey as they adopted OOROO as their primary auto maintenance and repair service provider.
OOROO has since been awarded over 10 individual awards for innovation and has a steadily growing client list. They are on track for expansion into the Phoenix market and have no plans to stop there. They are an established community partner that’s known for being reliable and trustworthy, and will continue to be known as such--all with Backed behind them.
